PCOS diet plan that fits your life
Gentle, practical nutrition support for polycystic ovary syndrome: cycles, weight, cravings, skin and energy.
Living with PCOS
PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) is one of the most common hormonal conditions in women of reproductive age. It can affect periods, weight, skin, hair and mood, and it is closely linked with insulin resistance. That is why food and lifestyle are such an important part of managing it, alongside care from your gynaecologist.
PCOS mein wazan kam kyun nahi hota? Insulin resistance can make weight loss slower and cravings stronger. Your plan is designed with that in mind.
What we focus on
- Balanced blood sugar: pairing carbohydrates with protein and fibre to reduce spikes and cravings.
- Regular meal timing: fewer long gaps followed by large meals.
- Protein and vegetables: daal, chana, eggs, yoghurt, chicken and fish, with sabzi and salad.
- Less refined sugar and maida: realistic reductions in mithai, bakery items and sugary drinks.
- Modest weight loss if needed: even a small loss of body weight can help some women with PCOS improve cycles and symptoms.
- Movement and sleep: both affect insulin sensitivity and mood.

Working with your doctor: nutrition supports PCOS treatment but does not replace it. Please continue any medicines your gynaecologist has prescribed, and tell us about them at your visit.

PCOS questions
Can diet cure PCOS?
There is no cure for PCOS, but healthy eating, activity and weight management can improve symptoms for many women. Nutrition works best alongside medical care from your doctor.
Do I need to stop eating dairy or gluten for PCOS?
Not usually. There is no strong evidence that everyone with PCOS needs to avoid dairy or gluten. Cutting out whole food groups can make your diet harder to follow without clear benefit.
Can I consult online for PCOS?
Yes. Many PCOS patients prefer online consultations by WhatsApp video call from home.
